The 88192 from Lucid is an eight-channel analog to digital and digital to analog converter and provides eight-channels of AES/EBU and eight-channels of SMUX2 ADAT digital audio to and from the host at sample rates of up to 192kHz.
The converters display extremely low distortion and jitter, along with wide frequency response which, taken together, translate into clean, quiet and accurate recordings. Adjustable gain and clip limiting on the analog input stage allows the user to optimize levels under a variety of circumstances.
The simple user interface is designed for quick, efficient operation of all functions. Analog and digital I/Os are on standard connectors and do not require the addition of expensive D-Sub snakes for operation of the unit.
