Audio Technica
Matsushita started Audio-Technica in 1962 with the goal of making high-quality audio accessible to everyone. And, in the company's small flat in Shinjuku, Tokyo, he quickly built the first truly inexpensive phono cartridge, the AT-1. They have expanded to build critically acclaimed headphones, turntables, and microphones based on their enthusiasm for listening, while staying a family business and maintaining the notion that high-quality audio should be accessible to all.
